Founded in 2011, Luthia Consulting Inc. was established by seasoned technology consultants with deep expertise spanning data engineering, AI, and industrial electrical, instrumentation, and control (E&I) systems — with over two decades of combined experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions for clients including Suncor, Husky, Cenovus, and IBM across the energy, oil & gas, technology, public service, and government sectors.
From the beginning, our team brought together two complementary strengths: the ability to build intelligent data and AI systems, and the hands-on industrial expertise to deliver quality assurance, commissioning, and operational readiness for critical infrastructure. Luthia Consulting Inc. established in Calgary, AB, providing data analytics, business intelligence, and electrical/instrumentation (E&I) consulting to clients in the energy and oil & gas sectors.
Delivered E&I quality assurance, QA/QC inspections, and commissioning support for major oil sands and heavy oil projects. Simultaneously built enterprise BI solutions including executive dashboards, volumetric reporting, and commodity market analytics platforms.
Expanded E&I consulting services to include maintenance planning, SAP PM implementation, and asset management support for energy and heavy oil operations. Provided operational readiness and assurance consulting across multiple sites.
